Hi, I’m Dr. Alex Wanstrath, and I help organizations design learning experiences that actually work.

I’m a Learning & Development strategist, instructional designer, and performance coach with a deep passion for helping people grow—and helping organizations thrive because of it. With over 15 years of experience across education, athletics, and corporate learning, I bring a unique perspective to building impactful, engaging, and results-driven learning solutions.

Why I Do This Work

Throughout my career—from the classroom to the boardroom—I’ve seen too many organizations invest in training that misses the mark. Content-heavy. Process-light. Impact-lacking. That’s what led me to start this consulting practice: to partner with companies who want more than a box checked—they want learning that transforms people and powers performance.

What I Bring to the Table

I hold a Ph.D. in Instructional Design & Technology, a Master's in Coaching Education, and a Bachelor's in Social Studies Education. I’ve designed everything from onboarding programs and leadership development to facilitator training and digital learning strategies. My clients appreciate my ability to blend research-based methodology with real-world application—and to meet people where they are, whether it’s a start-up team or a Fortune 500 enterprise.
